Birthday Party

Nellie's Birthday party was so much fun.  She did really well, and despite how much she ate she didn't puke!

Happy Birthday Nellie!

Here is a montage of Photos from Nellie's first year. I can't believe she is already a 1 year old! This year has been more fun than I could have imagined. I love her so much! And more each Day! She has been such a blessing to our family. I thank God for such a wonderful little person that she is growing up to be. Even when she is "challenging" I can't help but look in her eyes and just want to kiss her and hug her!

We got Nellie up this morning singing Happy Birthday. I'm not so sure how much she liked it. (Sorry about the poor quality)

St. Patty's Day

I took these photos yesterday of Nellie wearing her green on St. Patty's Day.

Little Book Worm

Nellie loves the new books she got from her Aunt Noni. She especially loves the duck one since that seems to be her favorite animal! She "quacks" when she sees one (although I know it sounds more like a growl). So cute!

Little Artist

Well last night I decided to introduce Nellie to crayons for the first time. She did really well. I can't believe she won't be a baby anymore in 17 days! This year has gone by so fast. I know everyone says that! But I think the first year is especially true because they go from being little things that cry, eat, poop, and sleep, to being little tiny people. Nellie has such a personality and it comes out more each day. I can't believe how fast she learns things! After the video I told her to put the crayons away and showed her how a couple of times and she put all the rest away by herself! I was so amazed. I can't wait to see what new things she will learn today! (by the way the reason she is in her diaper is because we had just finished finger painting!)

Prescott trip

This weekend we went up to Prescott with my parents. We rode the Verde Canyon Railroad and went to the heritage zoological sanctuary. We had so much fun. Nellie loved it all!

Nellie as a spider with Nana! She is even making her "scary" face.

Stuck!

Should we find out the sex of the baby?
