Silliness

Here is a video clip of Nellie reading to herself. The second part I turned the screen around so she could see herself as it was recording. She was acting so goofy!

A Day of Firsts

Sunday Nellie surpised me by doing many things for the first time. I gave her a hug in the morining and told her I love her.  For the first time she said "love you" back. It melted my heart. Then later in the day she stated to sing for the first time. It was so cute! The sweetest little voice. At church when I went in to get her after service she was rolling around and playing with two other kids. She looked so grown up giggling with other kids. I asked her if she had fun at church and she looked at me and said "yeah!" She just looks like a little girl now and is really losing all her babyish qualities. Today she opened a door for the first time. So now nothing is safe!

BIG news!

Nellie took her first step today! We were at the doctor for a check up and she stood up all on her own and took a step. She immediately fell down after. When we got home she kept trying  over and over. Maybe it won't be long after all ;)

Catch Up

Eating Corn on the cob.

Silly face

Singing into the mic

Well I know it has been a really long time since I updated. Here is all that has happened since I last wrote: Nellie and I took a trip to cali to visit family and go to my nephew, David's graduation. Then took another trip to to North Carolina to visit some of Gabe's family. I found out I am pregnant and I am due in late January. I have really bad morning sickness and I have ended up in the ER twice because I couldn't stop throwing up and was getting really dehydrated. I am on medication but it doesn't seem to help. Gabe and I have decided to try to sell our house and find another one a little bigger. In the meantime we are staying with my parents. For 4th of July we went up north to Pine and stayed in a cabin. Nellie, Gabe, and I came down with a stomach bug and were all throwing up. So all in all it has been a pretty crazy couple of months. But we are all doing well (minus me who is still nauseous all day every day). I will try to be more consistent now!

Should we find out the sex of the baby?
